His deep connection with Hip-Hop culture further ignited his passion. “We all wanted to embrace the culture, so we dived into it,” he shares, recalling his explorations into emceeing and graffiti. However, it was DJing that resonated most strongly with him. “Hip-hop helped me appreciate a variety of music genres,” he notes, highlighting the eclectic style that has become his hallmark. DJ Finesse’s career is filled with memorable collaborations and significant milestones. “Being a DJ for Bad Boy Records gave me instant credibility,” he proudly asserts. His impressive resume includes participation in high-profile events like BET’s iconic shows and NBA All-Star and NFL Super Bowl Weekends. He has captivated audiences across the US and Europe with his seamless mixes and infectious energy.
Despite battling cancer, DJ Finesse remains a remarkable DJ talent and successful entrepreneur. A former DJ for Bad Boy Records/Entertainment, his dedication, charismatic personality, and collaborative spirit have ensured his lasting presence in the entertainment industry for three decades.

He has collaborated with world-renowned artists including One Republic, Jamie Foxx, Ludacris, John Legend, Wesley Snipes, and Flo Rida, among others. Currently, he proudly serves as the official DJ for the nationally recognized Providence College Friars in the Division 1 NCAA Men's Big East Conference.
