Q. Can you tell us about your new hybrid coaching program? 

The program, Aspire Higher, combines the strengths of customized 1:1 advising and safe space group brainstorming for entrepreneurs to strengthen their brand leadership and enable them to dedicate energy to elevating their brand. This is so important because we learn from one another in this shared experience as business owners. We see first hand what strategy or marketing technique is successful from those brand stories - it truly resonates when it’s someone you know!

Q. What can clients expect to receive from hybrid coaching? 

In this 4-month cohort program, clients will gain clarity on their brand vision, develop actionable strategies to grow their business, exchange fresh ideas through collaboration with fellow entrepreneurs, and receive the support and accountability of a purpose-driven community.

Q. Can you give us a tip on how someone can dive deep into their brand strategy to grow their business? 

The best approach is to be honest with themselves and be committed to change. When you set realistic goals and build your action steps in truth, you are preparing yourself for future success. And when your mindset is all about changing the trajectory of your business, how can you fail?! Your confidence and thoughtfulness will motivate you to keep going even when life and business curve balls come your way.

Q. Switching gears, how do you manage building a business as a black woman in today's world? 

When I first embraced my calling as a business development coach, I suffered (and still do at times), from fear of failure and self-doubt.  I constantly questioned myself about whether I know enough about running a business and if I’m needed in this crowded coaching space. The answer is yes! I have the brain space from a decade of having my own photography business as I learned the ups and downs of being an entrepreneur as well as the experience of leading teams at local nonprofits. I think having a business as a black woman is to face challenges head-on with confidence, and to overcome personal setbacks and internal conflict that robs you from living your full potential.

Q. How important is it to you to support black-owned businesses? 

It’s my purpose to help these visionary leaders feel right, get clear, and move smart on their journey. I want them to succeed because it’s part of our community’s legacy to thrive in spite of the obstacles and to serve as a testimony to inspire generations to come.

Q. Do you feel as if you are living in your purpose? 

I am on my way to living fully with each client that I provide consult, every business milestone achieved, and every life lesson learned it brings me closer to being a full-time coach.

Q. What's your superpower? 

My superpower is creating a safe, empowering space for BIPOC entrepreneurs to unlock clarity and take aligned action. I blend intuition with intention—making people feel seen, heard, and guided—while helping them focus, communicate their value, and move forward with purpose. My ability to sense what someone needs, build trust quickly, and offer strategic insight makes me both a coach and a catalyst.
