Since the pandemic, purpose has been at an all-time high. People are no longer subjecting themselves to careers that no longer serve them. They are applying to jobs that align with their values or quitting altogether. If you are thinking of starting a purpose-driven business, then this article is for you.
Below I list ways how to go from purpose to profit.
1. Discover your purpose
Ask yourself, what am I here for? What am I passionate about? What gifts come to me easily? What am I known for? What brings me joy? Discovering your purpose is not farfetched, but it does require self-reflection.
2. Visualize your new normal
Now that you have uncovered your purpose, you should embrace, visualize, and accept your calling. When you imagine your goals, you are “seeing” yourself in that position before you accomplish them.
3. Set goals
Now that you have visualized how you want your new life to be, the next step is to focus on goal setting. Goal setting helps you stay on track, provides direction, and helps you gain clarity about your vision.
4. Activate your purpose through business development
It is now time to activate your purpose by creating a successful-purpose-driven business and brand. You can do this by defining who will benefit from your gifts (target audience), researching the industry, creating a business plan, and website, and testing the market.
5. Package your gifts
It's time to get this schmoney! You can package and sell your gifts through consulting and coaching, ebooks and e-courses, education and training, entertainment, physical products, and more!
